Physical Therapy Assisting is a rewarding profession in the health care industry. This hands-on career involves interacting and aiding patients, playing a vital role in improving their quality of life physically and emotionally. Working under the supervision of a physical therapist, physical therapy assistants help patients recover from illnesses and injuries by providing various treatment programs. Physical therapy assistants help patients improve or restore mobility, relieve pain, or provide preventative treatments from physical disabilities and diseases. Exercises, massages, and ultrasounds are just some of the methods Physical Therapy Assistants will use to maximize the movement potential in their patients. Responsibilities also include recording treatment responses and results from patients to the physical therapist.

You will gain the training and learn the skills to work as a Physical Therapy Assistant in a variety of health care settings.
